The GCYC Experience

This year, the GCYC experience is quite different from the previous year. Though I am not the host for this year but I received something special this year.

I sensed the Lord impart a different spirit and heart for the nations upon me. I saw a greater unity among the nations in a greater measure. The Lord spoke to me thru this conference. Th lasting impact for me was the sharing by Pst Yeang Cheng where he shared on the temptations of Jesus nad how we can learn from it.

Jesus was tempted by satan on 3 occasions, in the desert, on the highest point of a temple and mountain top.To me this sharing, is really about us as christian to not be drawn into the world and being led by the world but to be in the world but yet still live a life of holiness and to transform the world.

Doing the last session by Pst eugene, he shared about God's heart is for the nations where he shared there is one big question and one big key.

The one big question is about the supremacy of Christ and how big Jesus is to us as individual and the big key is the Holy Spirit which lies in this word "FIRE". It is the impactation of fire in us that will keep us moving on after this GCYC. It is not just after this peak and back to our own lives after that but rather, it is about having this FIRE burning and encourging us on and pushing us to continue to fight this race.

Pst Eugene ended with the question of what will quench this fire. The 3 points, unbelief,unwillingness and ungreatefulness from our part will quench the fire in us and in order to prevent that, will require FAITH, ACTION & REPENTENCE.
