SP 1728

I went to TCT for SP 1728 meeting. It as a time that Pastor will share about his direction for the church for 2009 as well as the change of timing in church service.

It was a tiring day, not sure why but really fell into deep sleep on the bus on the way to TCT. Really needed the good rest. haha... Anyway, just had a good feel about the meeting and at the same time excited in hearing what SP has to share.

That night, SP shared on the struggles that the leadership had in making the decision on the church timing for next year. They had to consider that the chinese congre had problem in maintaining their service at the 1130 timeslot at expo and felt that being back in TC & TCT would be better for them as the dynamics there would be much better and at the same time, the youth service is also not fully maximise althought having their own youth service is a good thing and where the yoth band can have the potential to maximise their potential.

Finally, the conclusion came that next year there will only be 2 services. English service at 10am and Chinese service at 12 at TC & TCT. With that change, comes another problem, as I am now with GKidz and with that change means that it is totally impossible for me to attend any service at all. So, for that I do not know what kind arrangement that the church and the leadership is going to make.

But, still, I am awaiting the coming of 2009.
